Titled “Unfinished,” it featured a riot of references including Tibetan tiger prints, folksy Chinese florals, and many, many stripes. Kawakubo “created a primitive feeling on jackets, trenches, and dresses with exposed linings, torn-off collars, and missing sleeves,” noted Vogue.
