Midorikawa, founded in 2017 by Tokyo-born designer Taku Midorikawa, is a menswear label defined by artistry, craftsmanship, and unconventional elegance. A Bunka Fashion College graduate, Midorikawa first explored experimental projects before establishing his namesake brand as a vehicle for free-spirited expression. Drawing on traditional Japanese techniques, the label reinterprets classic menswear with unique textures, layered fabrics, and decorative details such as ribbon tapes and exposed linings. These artisanal elements transform tailored foundations into garments that feel both historical and entirely new. Midorikawa’s work evokes individuality and emotion, creating clothing that inspires while standing apart as wearable art.
