Description The fourth generation of the EVOLUTION jacket marks twenty years of collaboration between TILAK and ACRONYM. Originally conceived in 2000, Evolution was specifically designed to excel in the most adverse conditions encountered while mountaineering, climbing, ice climbing, extreme skiing, and high-level outdoor activities. In this comprehensive redesign, two additional decades' worth of progressive knowledge and experience are married to this original intent. Newly engineered patterns and fit dynamics translate to optimal range of motion while using fewer seams and simplified construction. Canted ventilation zips improve airflow, comfort, and ergonomics. The new concept 'hinged' visor allows the hood to collapse and expand around the face for superior variability and customization. Symmetrical exterior chest pockets, a welded internal pocket, and removable waist gaiter complete the minimalist feature set. A commemorative 20th anniversary graphic graces the interior of the all black limited edition run of 200 jackets. Built with enhanced Gore-Tex® Pro most breathable technology** to provide extreme breathability—minimizing moisture buildup to give more comfort in more conditions—with retained ruggedness, uncompromised waterproof and windproof protection, and superior lightweight qualities with an improved environmental footprint.
