J126 extends the ACRONYM Vehicularǽ* concept to include cross-stream ventilation. The key to this is reversing the direction of the multipart TensionZipǽ from P60. Doing so allows us to build an array of 10 pockets ergonomically positioned to be accessed while upright, reclining, or riding. The pockets range in size from small organisational compartments, to a large dual-opening venting panel that takes up the entire front of the jacket. The vent panel can be regulated using two types of variable geometry TensionZipǽ openings. The lower teardrop creates a visually subtle opening for low-volume ambient venting. The upper pleat extends the opening into the z-axis, creating scoop-like air intakes for high-volume venting, especially when in motion (bike, board, scooter, exoskeleton). Both openings feed the air from the front, to the side and back of the body, via the side pocket openings and rear concealed zip vents. The jacket follows the bomber jacket archetype (one of the original vehicular garments) and is superfunctionalized with Ǎcronymř details, features, and mechanics.
