Description

J88-CV is an all new Acronym jacket with Polartec® Alpha® temperature regulating insulation. Designed to work as both a standalone item as well as an AuxZipǽ modular liner, it is practical, versatile, and packable. It features 3 pocket types in a unique 6 pocket array. Lower pockets are bi-lateral and zippered for security. Side pockets are extra large, insulated and mid-height to position your arms to maximize body warmth. Front pockets are designed for organisation of smaller items and quick access via a simple catch closure. The hood’s internal collar ridge is designed to retain its shape even when the hood is down and unzipped. The hood features a quickly deployable Alpha Direct facemask with power-mesh visor for visibility. Cut is zero-resistance and underscored via anatomic lines and multiple points of articulation. Polartec® Alpha® was originally developed for the U.S. Special Forces when they required a more advanced insulating material in their combat uniforms. This fabric is a new technology with active insulation that regulates core body temperatures during both dynamic and static activities. This latest advancement in adaptable breathability helps eliminate the need of shedding or adding layers while on the move. A highly compressible fabric, it easily layers with other materials and is storable in small spaces. A stable core of lofted knit fibers prevents fiber migration to keep a uniform consistency, even after heavy wear and repeated laundering.
