LEATHER LAPTOP CASE Inspired by doctors’ satchels, the Charles is a new take on the traditional style of bags used in the profession – unlined vegetable-tanned leather with a raw-cut edge – with added innovative features to make travelling easier: A large outside zipped pocket on the back of the bag to help it stay securely on a luggage trolley. Two small side pockets for the items you need to keep close at hand. The Charles satchel closes with a clasp engraved with the Bleu de Chauffe logo, combining accessibility, practicality, and security. Inside, the Charles satchel has a protective laptop sleeve for laptops up to 16 inches MacBook Pro, and a removable zipped pocket featuring the Bleu de Chauffe origin label, dated and signed by the artisan who created the bag. Size: L 40 x H 30 x D 12 cm Handmade in France. MATERIALS Today, more than 90% of leather in the world undergoes a chrome tanning process which uses heavy chemical components. Bleu de Chauffe has a different approach. Our leather is vegetable tanned which ensures better quality and more sustainable leather, a soft natural touch, and a patina which improves over the years. - Full grain leather, vegetable tanned and water resistant. - Natural finish, soft to the touch. Handmade patina. - Leather with a ‘velvet’ finish on the reverse. - Removable leather strap and comfortable leather shoulder pad lined with natural felt. - A leather handle makes it comfortable to carry by hand. - Removable inside zippered cotton pocket. - Integrated felt sleeve for laptops. - One zippered pocket at the back is specifically designed to attach the bag to a suitcase’s telescopic handle.
