Description

- This Type B-15C (MOD.) A.F.BLUE with patches is reproduced by "Buzz Rickson's" based on vintage jackets. The 34th Bombardment Squadron is a prestigious and historic unit established in 1917. Its insignia features the "Thunderbird," derived from a Native American legend. On May 10, 1952, during the Korean War, the 34th Bombardment Squadron was incorporated into the Far East Air Forces' 17th Bombardment Wing and deployed to Pusan West Air Base. Equipped with the Martin B-26 Invader, designed as an attack bomber, the squadron fought until the armistice. This patch version retains large squadron insignia on both chests, reflecting the elaborate style of the WWII era that gradually faded by the 1960s. The Thunderbird patch on the right chest is a rare, locally made patch procured in Japan, which was ordered individually by personnel at that time. - Material: 3/1 Heavy Nylon Twill (100% Nylon) - Lining: 100% Nylon - Inter Lining: 58% Wool / 42% Cotton Pile Undyed Natural Color - Out Slash Pocket: 50% Wool / 50% Nylon Double Face Brushed - Rib: 100% Wool - Leather Parts: Horse Hide - Front Fastener: Crown Aluminum Spring Puller Automatic Lock - Snap Button: Mil Specs Brass - Label: B.Rickson & Sons,Inc. / Modified - Made in Japan - Model Wearing Size: 42(XL) (Height 180cm / Weight 71kg) - Related Product:
