Description
- This Type E-1 vest is reproduced by "Buzz Rickson's" based on vintage vests. The Type E-1 emergency vest was adopted starting in the estimated 1950s. Among the few military vests available, this vest is as attractive as the C-1 vests issued in the 1940s. The E-1 vest originally had pockets on both sides to hold a radio and battery, and tape around the waist to secure them to the body, but these were modified boldly as the civilian model. The material used was originally nylon, but was changed to cotton back sateen, and a smooth rayon cotton lining was used. In addition, a pocket was added to the lining to improve its functionality. The zippers are Talon zippers, in keeping with the 1940s, when cotton flight jackets were manufactured, and give the impression as if this vest existed before the introduction of the nylon E-1 vest, a synthetic fiber. - Material: Cotton Back Sateen (100% Cotton) - Lining: Rayon Cotton (50% Rayon / 50% Cotton) - Fastener: Talon - Made in Japan - Model Wearing Size: 38 (Height 170cm / Weight 52kg)
