- This is the reproduction of the "REVERSE WEAVE SWEATSHIRT", for which Champion was granted a second manufacturing process patent in 1952. "Reverse Weave" is that the fabric originally used in the vertical direction is used in the horizontal direction to prevent vertical fabric shrinkage, and at the same time, "EXPANSION GUSSET" on both underarms, which was not used for the 1st model in 1938, is adopted to reduce the influence of horizontal shrinkage. With this improvement which takes into account ease of movement, Champion got a second manufacturing process patent. The "Tataki name tag," as it is commonly known, sewn in on all four sides, is also a detail from that time, and Champion has faithfully reproduced the name tag on which the patent number of "Reverse Weave" and "Expansion Gusset" is noted. It has an authentic silhouette and features a college-style print typical of Champion. In addition, this product does not have the "C" logo patch on the left sleeve because it is a reproduction of a product from the era when the "C" logo patch was not attached to the left sleeve. - 100% Cotton - Reverse Weave Sweatshirt - Brushed Lining - Flat-seamer sewing for Underarm - Made in Japan - Model Wearing Size: M (Height 170cm / Weight 52kg)
