Description

The brooch is a tribute to the gemological family of quartz. Arranged on a framework of intertwined wire, citrines and smoky quartz seem to form two concentric bands around a Madera quartz. The slightly rounded shape of the jewel, which culminates in the intense orange of the central stone, enhances not only the brightness of the crystals but also the three-dimensionality of the entire composition. The tip cover, made with a spiral of gold wire, recalls a tradition that was very popular in the 19th century, while also enhancing its plasticity.
