Our collaboration with Tate imbues our classic 1460 boot with the attitude of provocative British surrealist and occultist Ithell Colquhoun — whose accomplishments are often overlooked alongside the towering male figures of Surrealism. The boot is made with Backhand leather which provides a new canvas for Colquhoun’s ‘Volcanic Flare’, defined by vibrant orange and green shades that reflect the fluidity of the earth itself © Tate. The sole is grooved and secured with our signature yellow welt stitching, and the top of the boot is tagged with our black and yellow heel loop. - Born on 01.04.60. Named the 1460 boot. Over six decades, our 8-eye work boot has become unmistakable - Backhand is full-grain leather that’s durable and soft to the touch - Construction - Made with a Goodyear-welted lines that are heat-sealed at 700˚C and reinforced with our signature welt stitch - Sole Height - Platform height: 1/2 in; Heel height: 1 1/8 in Material Backhand - A full-grain soft leather featuring a straw grain texture, finished with a print.
