Inspired by the classic Levi's design from 1962, our modified take on the “Type III” jacket is cut slightly longer in the body, with the addition of hand-warmer pockets — the construction of which also creates two internal storage pockets. Made In Japan - Designed by Shinichi Haraki, handmade by WORKS INC. in Japan 19oz Left-Hand Twill Japanese Selvedge Denim - 100% cotton - Woven under high tension to create a stiff fabric with an intense indigo appearance - Indigo rope-dyed warp / white weft - Left-hand twill weave - This denim will fade naturally through wear and washing Cut & Features - Inspired by the iconic Levi’s Type III trucker jacket - Slightly longer than traditional body length - Flap-down chest pockets - Handwarmer pockets, the construction of which creates two internal pockets - Dual hem cinches Hardware & Construction - Iron Heart branded tack button fastenings - Poly/cotton stitching - Single and double needle chainstitch construction - Internal felled seams Selvedge ID - Placket selvedge ID Model Sizing - Model Michael is wearing a Large Unsanforized & Unwashed - This is a raw denim that has not been sanforized. Sanforization is a post-weave mechanical process that removes most potential shrinkage from a fabric before garment construction. Therefore, since this is an unsanforized fabric, this jacket is shrink-to-fit and requires soaking or washing to achieve its true size - Unlike most of our jeans and jackets, we have also not washed the finished garment in an industrial washing machine, so shrinkage remains - The shrinkage will depend on how hot and vigorously the jacket is washed. Expect approximately 1" to 1.5" shrinkage in the sleeve and body length, with all other dimensions shrinking proportionately Care Guidelines - We recommend washing this garment at 30°C with a low (or no) spin cycle. Hang dry, do not tumble dry
