10OZ NEP DENIM WINDBREAKER - INDIGO

Description

Reminiscent of vintage 1950s-style denim, the 10oz fabric used for this windbreaker jacket features a character-filled “neppy” finish. This distinctive texture is created through a slow weaving process using short-fibre yarns, resulting in cotton “neps” that protrude from the fabric's surface. Adding to the unique nature of the denim, the uneven warp yarns are rope-dyed indigo, while the weft yarns are reactive-dyed to impart a very subtle light blue tinge to the reverse side of the weave. Based on our classic windbreaker cut, other features of this jacket include an elasticated ribbed collar and cuffs, a two-way zipper, with a classic Iron Heart chest print complementing the retro vibe of the denim. This process removes virtually all potential shrinkage. - No further shrinkage is expected when washed according to our care guidelines Care Guidelines - We recommend washing this garment at 30°C with a low (or no) spin cycle. Hang dry, do not tumble dry
