Offering a lighter weight alternative to our signature Ultra Heavy Flannel (UHF) shirts, our 9oz selvedge unbrushed flannels provide classic Iron Heart styling in a cooler, more breathable option for the warmer months. This season’s shirts feature a timeless check pattern, seen here in our work cut with an eye-catching yellow/indigo colourway. Slowly woven to increase heft and texture, the darkest yarns in the pattern are indigo dyed while the lighter shades are sulphur cheese-dyed to allow for natural fading over time. With only four shuttle looms in Japan capable of producing this intricate pattern (which requires switching the weft yarn mid-weave), our SS25 shirts are some of the most unique Japanese-made flannels available this season.
