Made from 8oz Japanese ripstop cotton, this short-sleeved shirt provides lightweight durability combined with the retro styling of our mechanic cut. Commonly utilised in outdoor clothing, ripstop is woven in a pattern of reinforced squares, adding strength to the fabric and preventing tearing. This particular fabric is woven using uneven, 100% cotton yarns, creating a stiffer, thicker ripstop than our cotton/rayon blend weaves. Offering a relaxed, well-ventilated fit, this shirt bears all the hallmarks of our traditional mechanic cut—with features including snap fastenings, flap-down chest pockets, a straight hem and split seam gussets for enhanced mobility.
