LE CHOUCHOU “LE CHOUCHOU” is the 3rd self-published title by the House, following the release of IMAGES (2020), and MARSEILLE JE T’AIME (2017). Featuring the Fall 2023 fashion show “LE CHOUCHOU” paraded in the grounds of the Château de Versailles the book is documented by the British fine art photographer Martin Parr. Acclaimed for his documentary-style image making that satirises everyday life with a unique sense of humour, Parr’s prolific career spans over four decades. With an anthropological and sociological approach to the craft, Parr’s saturated, informal style captured Simon Porte Jacquemus’ imagination from a young age, as both a public and private window into other worlds marked with a joyful sense of imperfection and happenstance.
