Details The John Lofgren Bootmaker M-43 Service Shoes are meticulously crafted World War II-style boots, entirely made in Japan. Designed to faithfully replicate WWII Army service boots, the LK-017 design features classic Boondocker paneling and a Munson last. Crafted using Horween Chromexcel, the original supplier to the U.S. Army for the original service shoe during WWII, the boots' construction incorporates classic Goodyear welt construction using USA-made storm welts and is anchored with Vibram's 700 soles and 700 heels. - Built on the original Munson last - Horween Chromexcel Roughout Uppers - Heavy single, triple, and quadruple-stitched sewing - Japanese steel shanks - Embossed padded leather heel pad - 1.5" stacked heel - 6" shaft - USA made Vibram 700 half sole and Vibram 700 heels - Canvas dust bag - Handcrafted in Japan - Lot No. LK-017 Brand Info Hailing from California, John Lofgren's passion for vintage fashion led him to Japan, where he established his inaugural vintage store, "Honky Tonk Company" (H.T.C.), in 2000.
