Do we know where the name Donkey Puncher came from? Yes we do. These boots were named for men and women who operated "steam donkeys" a steam-driven winch used in logging at the end of the 19th century. The operators were of course known as "donkey punchers" hence the name. And now you know...queue star coming across the TV screen. On a side note to this, the colourway is cognac and all I can envision is someone drinking cognac on one of those weird looking glasses while wearing these boots. Makes sense right?
