The flesh side of the roughout chromexcel is treated with a heavy wax coating. Over time as the leather wears you will find a surprise underneath. Nothing like you have ever seen before. A suede-like texture will emerge ultimately developing a deep and rich patina that you could easily submit in any boot contest out there. I'm just sayin'...
