'Memory of' pea coat
Description
Pea coat in Melton cloth inspired by the British Naval uniform. The authentic typical references of the original piece are retained exploring the Maison's 'Memory of' concept with a true stitchless pocket. It nods at the work-in-progress technique with the overlay fabric placed on a toile base as if it were at a gentleman's tailor in Savile Row – appearing as if the tailor has artfully draped the fabric over the base and leaving an 'unfinished' garment. It has three hidden snap button closures under the 'Memory of' raw cut fabric at the front, while the back is accented with the four-stitches moniker at an angle. Runway piece, look 39.
