The iconic Maison Margiela split-toe Tabi ankle boots are inspired by the traditional 15th Century Japanese sock carrying the same name. Crafted in treated leather with elastic inserts – a removable black wax is applied to the coloured surface of the finished leather, then passed under brushes to unevenly remove the black wax. The back is marked with the Maison's iconic white straight stitch. Leather inner and sole. Made in Italy.
