END. and Needles bring us the "Indigo Wash" capsule collection that’s all about celebrating the cool, ancient art of indigo dyeing from Japan. Also known as "aizome", this technique is a piece of Japan’s cultural and textile legacy, famously adored since the Edo period. This time around, they're putting a fresh spin on Needles' famous track pants. Swapping the usual polyester for jersey fabric, these pants become the perfect canvas for the indigo dye, resulting in a unique uneven finish. Adding to the charm is the tonal, co-branded butterfly papillon embroidery and crisp white stripes running down the sides. This product has undergone a indigo wash-dyeing process.
