It’s no secret that New Balance is the lifestyle sneaker brand of the moment, thanks to its versatile silhouettes. This time, though, the Boston-based label is teaming up with LA-based artist Bryant Giles to put a vibrant spin on the 2002R. The uppers are crafted from olive canvas and detailed with an array of subtly embroidered abstract facial features, while tonal text that reads ‘what now?’ sits proudly on the heel as a nod to Giles’ recent work.
