Inspired by the technical optimism of concept cars from the 70’s, the New Balance XC-72 pushes sneaker design into unexplored territory. The blue-toned uppers are made from textile and overlaid with hairy suede, then detailed with a vertically split outsole that borrows aspects from two different silhouettes in the brand’s line-up – the XC15’s gripper and the 375’s studded pattern.
