Description

This bomber jacket is Jelado's take on a classic American college varsity jacket, the style that has become synonymous with preppy Ivy League looks. Crafted from a double-weave melton from Bishu, the weave is difficult to see and has been designed this way to give a luxurious and vintage feel. Melton is a time consuming material that is made through multiple processes such as fulling, brushing on both sides, and pressing the fabric with a roller to give it a firm feel (clear finish). The sleeves are made from a soft but textured cowhide leather, and the lining is a smooth navy cupro for ease of putting on. By using black melton and black leather, we have created a simple stadium jacket that can be easily worn with a variety of outfits.
