A firm favourite of Nigel's, our iconic wool winter beanie hat takes its inspiration from the short woollen watch caps worn by photographer and mountaineer George Lowe during the 1957-1958 Trans-Antarctic Expedition. Made in Scotland from fine 100% Lambswool, these hats have a solid colour and are complete with Authentic branding labels on the turned-up brim. - Made in Scotland - 100% Lambswool - One Size: 7 inch depth, 21 inch un-stretched circumference - Ribbed Design - Authentic Label __ We advise to hand wash this garment. How to Hand Wash your Knitwear: - Fill a tub with clean, lukewarm water. - Add a wool detergent. - Soak wool garment for 10 minutes. - Gently squeeze the suds through it. Do not rub, wring or stretch the garment. - Rinse thoroughly in lukewarm water. - Gently press the water out and place the garment lengthwise on a clean, dry towel. Roll up the towel and press to squeeze out excess water – do not wring or twist. How to Dry Your Knitwear: - It's best to lay the garment out flat and let it air-dry, preferably in the shade avoiding direct sunlight. - Do not hang wool or knitted garments to dry, as this can cause the fibres to stretch.
