Description

Based on the headwear worn by mechanics and flight crew in the US Air Force during WW2, the Mechanics Cap in Denim is a hardwearing baseball cap. Although these caps were intended as a functional means to keep the sun out of mechanics' eyes whilst preparing aircraft for take-off, their use quickly extended to other parts of the Air Force due to their practical nature. The hat's unique Camo print has been specially designed by combining a mixture of iconic military camouflage. The brush stroke texture originates from the WW2 British paratrooper brushstroke Camo pattern, whilst the colour-way takes inspiration from U.S. Frog Skin Uniform.
