Description

Based on the headwear worn in WW2 by mechanics and flight crew in the US Air Force, the Mechanics Cap is a hardwearing baseball cap. Although these caps were intended as a functional means to keep the sun out of mechanics' eyes whilst preparing aircraft for take-off, their use quickly extended to other parts of the Air Force due to their practical nature. This Mechanics Cap is made from a high quality denim, woven in Japan by fabric specialists Kuroki. The denim has been woven on narrow looms using 100% cotton, combining the appearance of denim with the soft hand-feel of wool.
