Also available in Vintage Red, Sports Green and Black Inspired by a number of archive sweaters from the 1970’s, the Training Sweater has been cut slightly longer through body with a drop shoulder. This comfortable fit is often a feature of jersey pieces dating around this period; fabric would stretch over time due to the direction in which it was cut. The Training Sweater features a full flat-lock stitch construction originally designed to add extra strength at the seams when worn during contact sports. Other details include kangaroo patch pocket and embroidered broad arrow on the sleeve. Made using 420g American loopback jersey, the sweater has been specially developed to replicate the look and feel of classic American sportswear of the 1950’s. Finally, in order to achieve a desired aged look each garment has undergone a unique pigment dyeing process in which fading of colour and a dry handle is part of the aesthetic.
