Nike builds on the legacy of the Air Vapormax this season, creating a new version from the ground up that has a focus on sustainability. It’s made with at least 50% recycled content by weight, with everything from the Flyknit uppers to the reworked Air unit being produced in a considered manner. Looks wise, it retains the sleek, futuristic lines introduced on the first iteration of the model but gains an extended TPU heel clip – that’s made from part-recycled material, too – and the latest FlyEase technology for easier off and on for wearers of all abilities.
