A forerunner of the Bauhaus movement, NOMOS Glashutte is a member of the Deutscher Werkbund, a purveyor of quality German engineering and graphic design. There's "not a single redundant line" on the 'Orion Neomatik', made from stainless steel with a sharp dial articulated with gold-tone and tempered steel hands and markers. Most compelling to the model is the configuration of the date wheel within the movement: a patented mechanic of the watchmaker that allows bi-directional date adjustments without harming the instrument. Taking several years to fineese, it problem solves a frequent (and costly) issue in mechanical builds.
