It has a water-repellent coating. With that said, please note that this jacket is made for city life. It's perfect, for, let's say, a murky Göteborg in December, but will not stand for hours of outdoor adventures in the pouring rain. The body, sleeves, and hood are lined with a soft blanket that mixes wool and recycled fibers. It offers slip-in pockets lined with the same blanket and two roomy, flapped patch pockets when it comes to pockets. On the inside, you find one buttoned patch pocket.
