The Tuff Tony Pants feature two slanted front pockets and two patch-on back pockets, and these particular ones are made from an indigo-dyed twill. They are sewn with medium thread thickness and a short stitch length that, along with the fabric, gives the pants a well-crafted look. As the twill is indigo-dyed, it will age with wearing and washing, developing a beautiful patina with use. Since these pants are made from indigo-dyed twill, we recommend at least 6 months of daily wear before the first wash. This is, of course, only a recommendation. Washing earlier and more frequently also renders great results, but make sure to either hand wash or use a gentle washing machine cycle. As long as you take care of the pants, they will, in turn, reward you with an evolving patina that very well might render the best-looking washed indigo pants you will ever have.
