FABRIC RESEARCH AND TREATMENT LASER PRINTED DAVID-TC WITH PRIMALOFT® P.U.R.E™ INSULATION: Long Parka in David-TC. Beginning with a star-shaped cross-section Japanese polyester/polyamide substrate, garments in David-TC are sewn and then simultaneously garment dyed and treated with an anti-drop agent. During the dye process, under pressure at 130°C, the fabric undergoes heat-induced compression, radically transforming its texture and construction for a truly unique tactile effect. The garment is engineered to be then padded with an inner layer of PrimaLoft® P.U.R.E™, an exclusive 100% recycled blend of ultra-small diameter fibers resulting in superior thermal performance. It delivers the highest warmth-to-weight ratio of all synthetic insulations. The print motif is 'lasered' on the finished garment, after garment dyeing; the laser beam erodes the fabric lending the design a different color. STYLE Detachable hood with overstitched contour visor with drawstring and neck flap; inner quilting and padding. Standing collar with second inner ribbed jersey collar. Slanting hand pockets with flap and button fastenings. Laser print under the hand pockets, made after the garment dyeing procedure, of two parallel stripes with the addition of Stone Island lettering on the back; lasered print motif of a big squared motif with central star above. Tape at cuffs with tightening buttons. An array of snaps to shape legs protection inside the bottom hem. Hidden two-way zipper and button fastening.
