- This rectangular plaid pattern is created by sampling indigo-dyed old Japanese fabrics (wagara) while preserving the original yarn quality and motif. The warp is composed of three colors, including indigo kasuri, and the weft is one color. The pattern is applied to a 1940s-50s American work shirt with double flap pockets.
