The Lot 322 Sports Jacket is cut from a faithful reproduction of a rare 1930s fabric known as “TWEEDUROY”. Originally developed by the Hockmeyer Company in Massachusetts, this corduroy was designed to mimic the look of wool tweed while offering the durability and easy care of cotton. First used for boys’ and school uniforms, it eventually made its way into adult wardrobes as both a practical and subtly luxurious choice. This version reimagines a classic Cossack-style jacket, a silhouette that was popular in the same era, balancing vintage detail with proportions suited for modern wear.
