The Lot.323 Quilt Lining Blanket Jacket takes inspiration from the quilted liner jackets issued to French troops during the later stages of the Algerian War, merging that military functionality with details borrowed from the Brown’s Beach Jacket, a symbol of American workwear. To recreate the depth and warmth of a vintage blanket cloth discovered in Minnesota, Taiga Takahashi developed an original wool fabric, carefully adjusting the cotton phase blend. The result is a textile with subtle shifts in shade and a brushed, voluminous hand that captures both heritage and comfort. The jacket feels archival in its roots yet distinctly modern in its execution, offering warmth and presence in equal measure.
