The Lot. 606 Hoodie reinterprets what the vintage clothing industry calls the “retrofit hoodie”, sweatshirts patched with hoods that became archetypal for everyday wear. T.T brings that historical background into a refined, modern form while preserving the spirit of early sportswear. This piece is cut from tubular jersey cotton, knit in Wakayama on the world’s last surviving hanging knitting machine from the Taisho era (1912–1926). Though capable of producing only about a meter of fabric per hour, the machine imparts a texture unlike any other: dry to the touch, subtly uneven, and airy, as if the surrounding atmosphere were woven into the cloth.
