You know, the tight fibre structure that prevents any ‘opening’ or stretching (e.g. when lasted) add some rich dyeings with the waxes during wear and what do you get? A wonderful combination of natural texture and colour...and one last thing...it's water resistant! Now that's a leather I can get behind.
