Originally crafted in 1931, Viberg's Service Boot is a timeless design inspired by standard issue military boot patterns. The boots have a minimalist design, allowing the raw materials and construction to speak for themselves. Viberg's 1035 last is the round toe version of their 2030 last. The 1035 provides more room in the toe box to accommodate wider feet while still presenting a sleek profile and toe shape. This iteration features Horween Tannery's Chamois leather, flipped to showcase its rugged reverse side. Tanned in Chicago, IL, the cowhide is generously nourished with a rich blend of natural oils, creating a weather-resistant roughout leather with an oily feel and hairy nap.
