To give you a little background, this leather did not rise from the ashes of an erupting volcano but in fact is a full grain calfskin, bright with boxcalf hand. A natural grain with a fine, regular appearance and a silky feel aka luxurious. Leather does not normally get it's fair shake when talking about the quality and appearance of boots and shoes but the accolades of this leather should be echoed from the tops of buildings around France.
