Founded in 2020 by Emma Hill, Damson Madder was born from a desire to challenge unsustainable fashion practices. Based in North London and led by a female team, the brand experiments with recycled and organic fabrics, natural dyes, and small-batch production. Named after two early favorite shades—Damson (plum) and Madder (flower)—the label creates limited drops made 12–18 months in advance, producing only what it expects to sell to minimize waste. Rooted in transparency, responsible manufacturing, and enduring design, Damson Madder champions conscious clothing crafted to be worn, loved, and reworn.
