PAULA CANOVAS DEL VAS for Women

London-based Spanish designer Paula Canovas del Vas founded her eponymous label in 2018, embracing imperfection and chance as central to her creative process. A Central Saint Martins graduate, she draws inspiration from her Spanish heritage, fine art, nature, and gastronomy to craft whimsical, sculptural designs. Her collections feature vibrant hues, unconventional textures, and bold silhouettes, from pronged Diablo shoes and bulbous accessories to playful knits and jackets with outlandish shapes. Guided by the Japanese concept of Wabi-Sabi, she balances beauty and the grotesque while prioritizing ethical production through artisanal techniques, local manufacturing, and the use of deadstock materials.
