A new skillful handcrafted technique stands out on the extremely lightweight and slightly crispy texture of Crispy silk: mohair and wool threads are embroidered on the base during different phases to create a floral-inspired motif with a subtly voluminous and three-dimensional effect. Little sequins are then added to the initial embroidery to give depth and brightness to the decoration. MATERIALS Refined Crispy silk is an ultra fine fabric characterized by a transparent, matte look. The fabric’s delicate color stems from a particular dye that preserves the fiber’s natural textured effect.
