Ancient craftsmanship is reinterpreted in a sophisticated, modern way in this handmade cashmere OPERA Macramé Intarsia sweater. Different manual techniques are showcased in the garment: crocheting is predominantly used for the bottom, while knitting is used for the shoulders and sleeves. A third phase involves macramé, used to create the floral pattern inspired by Nordic tradition. All of the steps require a very high level of expertise from artisans, who finalize their work with the application of embroidered details to make each creation unique. MATERIALS To make each part of the garment, cashmere Feather yarn and cashmere Fleecy yarn are crafted by hand. The combination of these refined yarns provides the garment with an extremely soft hand and creates a full effect that remains incredibly lightweight.
