This classic denim shirt is cut from a "vintage wash" recycled cotton and hemp blend made exclusively for Chloé and laser-treated for reduced water use. The denim is elevated with a laser-printed magnolia pattern – a key theme in this capsule. The magnolia flower symbolizes purity, nobility and femininity in the Chinese culture. The Mandarin name for magnolia is Mulan, like the famous female warrior in Chinese legend. Linen, hemp and ramie cultivations emit less greenhouse gases and require less water compared to other conventional natural fibers, which is why they are considered lower-impact materials by their nature.
