Description
Crafted from suede goatskin, this festive clutch features a hand-embroidered crystal arrow in a tribute to Karl Lagerfeld's iconic shirt dress designed for Chloé's Fall-Winter 1983-1984 collection. The same arrow design was featured on actress Maude Apatow's dress at the Met Gala 2023. The bag's unique craftsmanship combines the "Aari" and "Zardosi" embroidery techniques and requires 22 hours of work by two beaders in India. The Chloé-engraved clasp opens to reveal a roomy main compartment detailed with a flat pocket, while the removable knotted chain strap allows for shoulder carry in addition to hand carry. The grain side was sanded to provide the leather with its velvet-like finish. Depending on the degree of finishing, this technique may produce a leather called nubuck or velvet leather. This material is fragile, particularly with respect to colors. Follow all care instructions on the insert. To make this product, Chloé worked with Leather Working Group (LWG) certified leather manufacturers.
