Crafted in a compact, round basket shape for an effortless attitude, this small Woody basket is handwoven by independent craftswomen in Kenya. The line's signature Chloé logo is embroidered on lurex webbing for an elegant touch. The basket has a drawstring closure and a long leather strap for shoulder and cross-body wear. This basket was made in partnership with Mifuko, a certified WFTO supplier. In Swahili, “mifuko” means pocket. With fair pay and less dependence on unpredictable farming as a source of income, Mifuko empowers its artisans in Kenya and ensures no one is left with empty pockets. All about Woody... Protection from direct light, heat and rain is advised. Should the item become wet, dry it immediately with a soft cloth. Due to its slightly abrasive surface, we advise you to avoid contact with delicate materials. Avoid intense rubbing with abrasive materials.
