Description
The Louise Junior Spikes is a low-top sneaker with a timeless silhouette, evoking the tennis shoes of the 1980s while lending a striking contemporary twist. It's crafted from a coated multicoloured fabric with a Leche beige background for a more supple feel. A modern sneaker with a heel tab and delicate topstitching that's trimmed with Maison Christian Louboutin's signature white spikes on the toe. Part of a capsule collection, it showcases the Gaagal fabric designed by Australian artist Otis Hope Carey depicting the spirit of the ocean (Gaagal in the Gumbaynggir language). To create the print, each colour is applied separately to cotton fabric, giving it the look and feel of a painting. A water repellent coating is then applied to ensure a durable finish.
