GRAINY WASHI PANTS
These pants are characterized by their texture inspired by Tapa cloth, which is made by pounding plant fibers. Using warp threads made from moderately stretchy polyester, as well as weft threads made from Japanese Washi paper and cotton, the flow and uneven texture of Tapa fibers are expressed through jacquard weaving. The Washi paper threads used are carefully crafted over time, giving the cloth a soft, puffy feel despite being a Washi paper blend.
